Each box call I make is individually hand-crafted from a solid block of wood as a double-sided call. The right side is tuned to produce a raspy sound and the left a higher, more mellow tone. I turn my own slate calls and strikers and then match each call with its best sounding striker. All slate calls are sold as a call-striker set. All hand-drawn artwork is done by local area artists.
